Brothers and Sisters:

It is with a heavy heart that I regret to inform everyone on the recent passing of our Local Union’s President and Business Agent Bruce Gerometta.  Bruce Gerometta has been a Leader in the Labor movement here in Los Angeles since he arrived in the early 80’s and he has always been there for working people. His compassion and love for the working men and women he helped will be remembered forever in our hearts. Here at Ironworkers Local 416 we will miss him terribly.

On behalf of the men and women here at Ironworkers Local 416 we want to express our appreciation for everyone’s condolences and kind thoughts. We also wish to extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends and colleagues in the community.

Ironworkers Local 416 will be notifying all of our Contractors and a possible phone call to all of the membership will be made on the services for Bruce as soon as that information is available. Cards and flowers for the family can be mailed to the “Gerometta Family” c/o Ironworkers Local 416.  Once again thank you for all your kind thoughts.
